Twin Senior Guys Photography Session | Ann Arbor, MI

September 30, 2023

Luke and Tyler | Class of 2023

I was super excited when my friend, Tina, asked me to take her twin boys’ senior pictures. At first Luke and Tyler didn’t want to have their pictures done, but as the end of their senior year approached they changed their minds. I gladly packed my bags and made the 3 hour drive to their hometown in Michigan. I hadn’t been there in several years, and seeing the kids now (they were all home except for their oldest daughter), how much they’ve grown and what amazing adults they’ve become, was really heartwarming! I just wish our time together had been longer. It was a short but sweet visit.

One of the boys had mentioned he liked old, grand buildings as a setting for their shoot, so we visited earlier that day and decided to have their session at the beautiful Law Quadrangle of the University of Michigan. The campus architecture was absolutely breathtaking and we couldn’t have been happier with how beautiful their images turned out. There was no time nor need to explore another Ann Arbor location.

Luke and Tyler are the youngest entrepreneurs I know. They worked until about an hour before we were supposed to start our shoot. They’ve owned Aquilino Landscaping L.L.C. company in Plymouth, MI, since they were just 13-14 years old. They work hard every day and take great pride in what they do.

I asked their mom to describe them and here’s what she had to say: β€œLuke is a work horse! He never stops, he works, works, works! He’s very focused and determined. He’s always joking around and making us laugh!” Paul, their dad adds: β€œHe’s a happy-go-lucky, hard worker and so compassionate.”

β€œTyler is a deep thinker,” says his mom, β€œand an excellent communicator with great business skills. He’s very methodical and organized, extremely social, and he talks to everybody.” Paul adds: β€œHe’s loving, outgoing, and a deep thinker with a magnetic personality.”

Wow!!! Can you see two successful business men here? I know that Tina and Paul couldn’t be more proud of these boys. I feel so blessed to call them friends and truly honored to have taken their senior pictures! Best of luck to you, Luke and Tyler, as your journey continues and thank you for letting me document such a special time in your lives. You both are truly amazing. xo
