Senior Girl Photography Session | Chagrin Falls, OH

December 23, 2022

Loris | Class of 2023

Loris is graduating from Nordonia High School this year. She reached out to me and was so kind and generous with her compliments towards my photography style. β€œI love how natural yet clean your photos look,β€œ she wrote. I knew I was going to have a blast with LJ. This is a girl who knew what she wanted and how to make it happenβ€”she was the sunshine on a cloudy day!

We captured her fun, cute side as well as her more mature, independent side.

LJ, as she’s called, was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader in the past and is now a member of the diving and track teams at her school. She also loves writing and her favorite class is Spanish. When she’s not in school she works at a fast food restaurant. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and boyfriend and plans to study business management and marketing after high school.

When I left my house for LJ’s session the weather didn’t look good, but the forecast kept changing so we decided to go on. I will be forever grateful that her boyfriend, Matt, and his mom, Jackie, joined us at the location. Their support and assistance throughout the entire shoot were so appreciated. It rained on-and-off and they made sure my gear stayed dry by holding the umbrella over me during shooting and carrying our bags around. Matt was so cuteβ€”every time I’d blurt out, β€œWow, LJ, you look so gorgeous!” he’d proudly say, β€œIndeed!” Scroll to the end to see LJ and Matt’s pictures together (they indeed are the cutest!) and click here to view Matt’s senior session. The good thing about this unpredictable and cold/rainy weather was that we had the whole downtown Chagrin Falls to ourselves. It’s definitely a hot-spot, not just for fellow photographers but for locals and tourists alikeβ€”it’s always crowded with people leisurely walking from place to place, enjoying the sights of the pretty town.

I kept checking the weather forecast because LJ and I were growing impatient waiting for the sun to come outβ€”when it finally happened it was magical. We had about 10 minutes but ohhh the pictures we created were so beautiful. What a day! LJ was amazing, beautiful, and full of energy and determination. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her! Have a wonderful senior year, LJ! You are a doll! xo
