The lavander field at Maize Valley in Hartville was so perfect for this fun shoot with Aviana. They even provided some props - the parasol and picture frame. I’d been wanting to have a photo shoot in a field like this for a long time. It was truly a magnificent place with lavender in full bloom, butterflies and bumblebees welcoming you to their happy and colorful world. Aviana wanted to surprise her mom, so she brought a dress that she wore to Prom when she was a young girl, we learned later that her mom actually made the dress in her high school home ec class. How special is that?!
Aviana said, "I wanted to give life to this dress that my mom once wore and give her a little blast from the past so she can remember the days she danced in it!" I love this idea and I'm sure her mom is going to love it even more!
